SMD IC Design Make-A-Thon 2025

SMD Semiconductor proudly presents the IC Design Make-a-thon 2025, a dynamic 3-day make-a-thon crafted for university and secondary school students across Sarawak, with a central focus unravelling circuit design - the foundational skill for aspiring chip designers.

Participants will collaborate in teams to ideate and build their own circuit designs, gaining practical experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies. From concept development to working prototypes, students will be encouraged to stretch the bounds of their creativity and technical skills.

Guided by experienced industry mentors, participants will also gain meaningful exposure to real-world practices, emerging trends, and how to translate their knowledge into impactful solutions.
